In more than 35 years of publishing, Max Lucado has penned more than 40 works of adult nonfiction, standing alongside dozens and dozens of bestselling children’s books, gift books, Bible studies, commentaries, and collections.

Max Lucado began his publishing career in 1985 with his first adult trade book, On the Anvil. He has written adult trade books, children’s books, gift books, Bibles and Bible studies. In each of these categories, Lucado has written at least one title that has sold more than one million copies.

In addition to announcing this publishing milestone, HarperCollins is announcing results from a new national survey showing 14% of Americans (one in seven) have read one or more Max Lucado books. In this same survey, 92% of his readers said: “Max Lucado’s content is relevant today” and 88% said his content “will always be relevant.”
